Google and GitHub sign-in let you keep a discovery library. We store your provider account ID and verified email to recognize your account. Your email is not shown in the public compendium. Choose either Google or GitHub to sign in. If you are already signed in here and authenticate with the other provider using the same verified primary email, we automatically combine your libraries and discovery credits. Either provider then opens the same explorer profile. Matching stored emails alone never combines accounts.
Your public credit starts as an automatically assigned Explorer alias. You can request a public explorer name in the compendium. Only approved names replace that alias; pending or rejected proposals are visible only to you and administrators. Only shapes you submit to the compendium, their geometry, and that alias appear publicly. Private library shapes do not appear in public lists or lookup. Suggested names stay visible only to you and the administrator until approved.
Discoveries remain stored when the game rules change. Signed-in discoveries save automatically to your private cloud library, without uploading your entire board. Publishing is a separate action: provide a name and submit to the compendium, at most once every 24 hours. Credits record who first submitted a shape, not proof of the first person to discover it in gameplay.
Before signing in, discoveries are kept in this browser's local storage. Signing in transfers them to your private cloud library and removes each device copy only after a confirmed save. Signed-in save failures are shown in the game; keep the board open or export it until retry succeeds. Clearing browser data removes those local drafts. Session cookies keep you signed in, and a security cookie protects submissions. Signing out ends the current session.
Connection history and original discovery records are retained when libraries are combined. Provider account IDs remain the sign-in identifiers if your email changes. Saved builds and download links
Named board snapshots saved to My builds are private to your account. Sharing creates an unlisted link: anyone with that link can open their own playable copy of the board, including its shapes and score. Stop sharing or remove the build to disable the link; copies already downloaded cannot be recalled. Builds are stored with your account in our backed-up database, and are separate from public shape submissions.
